Professional Journey

Throughout my professional journey, I have worked in diverse settings, including private practice, Division I athletic departments, sports medicine clinics, team consultations, hospitals, career counseling centers, and university counseling centers. In these settings, I have addressed a wide range of concerns, including psychological testing and assessment, sport and performance psychology, pain management, injury recovery, return to sport, interpersonal conflict, life transitions, trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders. I am well-versed in tailoring therapeutic approaches to suit the unique needs of my clients, providing compassionate and evidence-based treatments to guide them towards lasting change and growth.

Clinical Focus

With a PhD in counseling psychology, I have extensive training and expertise with working with all sort of mental health concerns. I also have specialized training and a passion for sport and performance psychology, injury recovery and management, and psychological testing. I believe that performance elements extend beyond sports into all areas of life—whether at work or in interpersonal relationships—regardless of whether we identify as athletes. I’ve witnessed this firsthand in my personal and professional life, as well as in my endeavors in long-distance triathlons and ultramarathons. Our minds and bodies are capable of remarkable things. Just as you train your body, our work together can foster your mind and its connection to your body, helping you pursue your dreams.
